Arpevio Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 11, 2026

Arpevio is a piano learning app that uses sign-in, MIDI input, practice scoring, song likes, and leaderboards to provide interactive lessons. This policy explains what data the app handles and how it is used.

Information We Collect

You may use Arpevio with an anonymous Firebase account. The anonymous account has a Firebase user ID but does not include an email address. If you later link Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In, the provider email address and sign-in provider are added to the same account, and your existing practice progress remains associated with it.

How We Use Information

Third-Party Services

The app uses the following services to provide account, database, storage, and app integrity features:

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Some information is processed by the services listed above so the app can provide authentication, catalog song downloads, app integrity checks, scores, likes, and leaderboards.

Local Files and Imported Songs

MusicXML files and cover images that you import are stored locally on your device. The app does not upload those imported files to Firebase or another server.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account from Account > Profile > Delete Account. Account deletion removes your account profile, Firebase authentication account, scores, likes, private play stats, and local imported songs on that device. Local app cache and user defaults are also cleared during the deletion flow.

Data Retention

Account and practice data is retained while your account exists. Local imported songs and images remain on your device until you delete them or delete your account. Server-side account data is deleted when you complete the in-app account deletion flow, except where retention is required for legal, security, or abuse-prevention reasons.

Children

Arpevio is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate parent or guardian consent. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate consent, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when app functionality or legal requirements change. The effective date above shows when this policy was last updated.
